been working in the studios.. getting somethings ready to take down to LaVon's Timeless Treasures.  I also really want to start getting our etsy shop stocked.  Melissa has been making and selling flowers and purses.  So... she is doing her part in her own little world.  she hasn't done so much in the shop, but that's alright, she will in time, I believe.  TYJ 

I have been getting the studios more organized.  putting most of the paper crafts and letter writing/calligraphy, stickers, stamps, things for ATC's and cards, etc all in Melissa's vacated bedroom.   the mailing center will be there as well.  In the sewing room we have taken out the shelf that Mark made and hauled it to dad Peter's to be taken apart and sanded and reglued.  In th meantime I have been going through odds and ends and sorting out my lace and ribbons and trims.  Mark was doing the trash route Monday when he picked up a huge garbage bag and it broke open and out came tons of fabric, so he put it in the passenger side of his pickup and had me go through it.  I washed it all up and then folded it and put it in the craft room.  great fabrics and lots of variety.  God let that bag pop open or we would have never found this.  There was one bolt of ribbon trim as well and that stuff is not cheap.  - So blessed by God.  TJ

Been working on this and that.  I am amazed at how hard I have to work to even get to where I am.  It looks like a novice made this stuff.  But, oh well.  I will learn and I will get better.

studio wotk

working in the studios today between lessons and napping.  I didn't sleep too long last night and so I know I will be needing a nap today.  Hope to get some pictures posted of some finished projects or works in progress.


Went outdoors and moved a couple of my painted tree limbs around and I think it looks better now.  I have a lot of work to do on that "faux garden". 

Saw some pretty wildflowers blooming in the front of the house.  Some daffodils out by the curb and in the side yard and some pink flowers at the porch railing.  TYJ  Loving this time of year!

It is sooo much fun to swap junk.  lol.. only today I did get some good stuff.  A package of beads, some Angel paper doll things, Some stickers and some odds and ends.  Stuff I am sure I can find a real good use for.  Yay me.. funner than shopping for sure!!

Making some more soap bottle aprons these may have been in and out of the fad scene over the years, but I sure do like them.. especially the ones I make.  :>

I also an making more yo yo needle books.  I have hosted many Swap-bot needlebook swaps and might get some more going.  Or perhaps offer these for sale in our Etsy boutique.
